hello there folks!
This is the home of Old Stokie, a Stoke City supporter of almost 60 years. In here, you will discover all the things that make me tick. You can also delve into the pages of a book I have written and many other things too.
OldStokie.com is a number of sites within a site and the links on the left are all the various compartments within it. I suggest you take them one at a time because if you want to, you can be in here for hours. There will be places you are interested in and others you are not. That's fine....take your pick and go where you want.
You may also want to follow the many links I have on here too, for they will lead you to many other interesting places. You won't find anything distasteful about my site, [except the odd bit of Anglo Saxon language] but you might have some fun.
I live in Stoke-on-Trent in Olde England. We call it The Potteries because that's what we're famous for. All the great British potters plied their trade here. Wedgwood, Spode, Doulton and a thousand others have made their mark upon the world and their wares are amongst the most treasured of artifacts.
Time flies....its now more than seven years since I set up this site in 2001. Hold on....there will be more to come as the years go by!!!!
