R.I.P. KIM.

Here is a poem written for you by your dad, my mate Terry.

KIM.

She was a constant ray of sunshine

Even on the bleakest of days,

She had a warm and loving smile

And lots of loving ways.

A superb sense of happiness

To all of us you gave.

A diamond and a treasure

With a heart so pure and brave.

Please do not grieve

Though you will feel that you must.

Her heart and soul fly free now,

On that we surely trust.

So think of her freedom

Though her passing made for sadness at the time,

Kim’s restraints are all gone now;

Her memory divine.

She no longer knows sanctions

Or needs such thoughtful care;

Her spirit is free now….

As free as the air.

So blow gentle breeze

On you she can depend;

She can wander where she wants now

And that will never end.

Please take her to places

She would never have seen

Except in a book

Or in a dream.

The happiness she knew

Kept her safe and secure.

With the freedom she enjoys now

She can experience so much more.

Please do not grieve,

This isn’t the end.

She now has the freedom

To become everybody’s friend.

Dad. XXXX
