The local fair comes to Longton Park a couple of times a year. It gives us the opportunity to go and spend some time together and for the kids to enjoy one of life's great joys - riding the rides at a wonderfully noisy fairground. Hooking the ducks and winning prizes, eating candy floss, whizzing down the helter-skelter and generally daring themselves to ride ever more daring stuff each year. The squeals - a mixture of joy and fear - is music to the ears of we who are privileged to watch them growing! Here are some of their magic moments.
